Free Electrical Recycling Days

Free Public WEEE Collection days across the City have proven to be very popular with householders and in conjunction with WEEE Ireland, the organisation which facilitates these collections days, a schedule for 2011 is currently being drafted. Finalised dates, locations & times for areas across the City are as follows:

Furthermore, Dublin City Council operate two Recycling Centres in the City, both Centres accept a wide range of materials including electrical items, free of charge. It is also worth noting that there is no restriction on the numbers of household electrical items brought by householders to these centres.

These Centres are located at; Pigeon House Road, Ringsend and Shamrock Terrace, North Strand. Opening hours at both Centres are as follows: -

Pigeon House Road, Ringsend
Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm
Sat/Bank Holidays 9am to 2 pm
Closed Sundays.

Shamrock Terrace, North Strand
Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm
Closed Sat/Sun and Bank Holidays.
