Waste Bye-Laws are issued by each Local Authority to regulate the Storage, Separation at Source, Presentation and Collection of Household Waste.

The Bye-Laws issued by the Local Authorities apply to all householders and waste collectors living and operating in the functional area. Bye-Laws have been introduced by Local Authorities in Dublin for the purpose of proper management of household waste in their functional areas.
