Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown Recycling Centres Charges


The Dun-Laoghaire - Rathdown County Council operate three Recycling Centres: 



- Eden Park in Sandycove, Co. Dublin 

- Ballyogan Recycling Centre in Dublin 18

- Shanganagh Recycling Centre in Shankill, Co. Dublin.  
Eden Park Recycling Centre



The Eden Park Recycling Centre opened in Decemeber 2005 and accepts a range of wastes from householders free of charge.

Shanganagh Recycling Centre


Shangangh Recycling Centre opened in March 2008 and accepts a range of wastes from householders free of charge.

Ballyogan Recycling Centre Charges


The Ballyogan Recycling facility has been open since November 2004 and a charge applies for certain materials accepted at the  Recycling Centre.  

The table below lists the materials that a charge applies to:

Wood garden, hardwood flooring, doors

Bulky Items

furniture, plasterboard

Soil, stones & Household Construction Waste

bricks, paving slabs, concrete, soil, rocks
General Waste & Other Wheeled bin wastes domestic refuse, small household items
Green waste garden waste, grass cuttings, prunnings
